Parallel Universe

Parallel Universe is a residential interior design for a home of 905 square meters. The design combines Art Deco details with a modern approach. Geometric wheat ear elements appear throughout the space, and marble and copper metal are used as complementary materials. The color scheme is based on black, gold, gray and white. Two bedrooms are placed on the ground floor, one behind the living room for the elders and one near the dining and leisure area. Three generations can live together without disturbing each other.

Peloponnese Rural

A plot situated in a remote village of Kalamia, with view to the Gulf of Corinth, is a setting for a family retreat. The morphology of the place led to the decision of creating a house with humble appearance from the street side, while developing in a two-level construction from the garden. Natural materials applied are inspired by industrial feel of the rural Peloponnese traditional stone stables. Built according to sustainable standards with restricted means, the custom-made dwelling has been playing major role in the 2020 pandemic situation, providing its inhabitants safety and comfort.

Hidden Breeze

Hidden Breeze is the interior design of a private villa of 530 square meters in Wenzhou. The design follows a minimal approach and uses terrazzo, dyed wood veneer, slate and art paint. The entrance porch keeps its original inner width, and hidden storage cabinets are added on both sides. Black and white artworks and a bronze sculpture balance function and beauty. The staircase moves from straight lines to curved lines. An octagonal window is extended into a full surface, so daylight reaches every corner of the interior. The project was completed in December 2019.

Bali Vacation

Bali Vacation is a residential interior design for a holiday house. The layout reduces partitions, so the living room, kitchen and study keep open circulation and wide views. Wooden grilles placed between the outdoor and indoor areas provide privacy and bring in sunlight and green views. Hollow rattan furniture and lighting give the rooms a light appearance. Natural wood and gray tones form the color base of the space. In the bedrooms, mirrors extend the sense of space and reflect the mountain scenery outside.

Elegance Resonance

Elegance Resonance is a residential interior design for a single level apartment of about 30 square meters. The interior is arranged for a woman living alone, with a living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, and with generous storage for clothing and shoes. Storage is the main theme of the plan. A double-sided wall between the living room and the bedroom carries the television wall on one side and a dresser on the other, and also forms a privacy boundary. Strip glass windows above the wall bring in light. Marble, metal and wire board are used in soft gray and pink tones.

LagunaVerde

LagunaVerde is a residential interior design for an apartment of 1091 square feet with two halls and two rooms. The two halls are separated by different floor materials. The kitchen is semi-open and divided by a glass door, which brings more daylight indoors and links the kitchen with the living room. The corridor is placed next to the window and forms a porch that extends when the glass door is opened. Materials include iron, mud brick, wood, laminate and vinyl tile. Walls and cabinets combine snow dolomite texture, floral lines and gold details.

No Restriction is a residential interior design for a family home. A tea room is placed within the living area like a small box set inside a larger box. The floor of the tea room is slightly raised, and upper and lower light troughs separate the room from the surrounding space. A two-part wooden sliding door links the tea room to the living room, while a glass door opens to the balcony. The result is a circulation loop between living room, tea room and balcony. The design aims to add practicality, aesthetics, planning and environmental care to family life.

Simple Carrier is a residential interior design created for a family home in New Taipei City, Taiwan. The 228 square meter space contains three bedrooms, one living room, one dining room, three bathrooms and one dressing room. Cool gray tones, inspired by caves, build a calm and private setting within a busy city. Curved windows bring in abundant daylight and add warmth. Materials include marble, wood grain grilles, gray glass, stone-like tiles and titanium-plated strips. Soft furnishings in saturated colors and amber light raise the visual temperature.

The Villa in Nature is a residential interior design created for a single-family villa in Taiwan. The layout follows the preferences and needs of the family. To enhance the sense of belonging of a home and connect the interiors with the great outdoors, the renovation applies large quantities of wood elements and combine various materials, striking a balance in the strong visual contrast and thereby constructing a space with enriched layers. This house is a prototype for a residential complex aimed to accommodate young families. It is designed to symbolize the tree. A tree that grows and continues to spread its roots down the earth and its branches up in the air. It's the symbol of a family. It's obvious that this house structure is growing the same as the tree structure. The stem of the tree is the core of the house which in this case is the stairs. The stairs that shape its journey. A journey from the bottom the entrance level to the top the roof garden. With all spaces cantilevered out of the core.

Kylie

Kylie is a residential house located on the outskirts of a city near the countryside. Like a sunflower, the building rotates with the course of the sun. In winter, solar gains reduce the heating demand, while in summer turning into the shade prevents overheating. Kylie was built as a prefabricated timber frame structure, with oak used for the terrace decking, furniture, wall cladding and parquet flooring. Heating is provided by a groundwater heat pump, and a photovoltaic system on the roof generates electricity. Overall, the house produces more energy than it consumes.
