Parallel Universe
Parallel Universe is a residential interior design for a home of 905 square meters. The design combines Art Deco details with a modern approach. Geometric wheat ear elements appear throughout the space, and marble and copper metal are used as complementary materials. The color scheme is based on black, gold, gray and white. Two bedrooms are placed on the ground floor, one behind the living room for the elders and one near the dining and leisure area. Three generations can live together without disturbing each other.
Parallel Universe Residential House by Mu Yuan was highlighted as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Parallel Universe Residential House was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade which honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
