Memory of Jiangnan

Memory of Jiangnan is a poster based on a traditional Chinese poem. The design draws on the characteristics of oracle bone inscriptions and seal script, which are simplified into clear graphic forms. Traditional elements are transformed graphically, deconstructed and recreated, with three-dimensional experiments applied to the letterforms. The poster is produced by digital printing and measures 70 by 100 centimeters. The intent is to present the charm of Jiangnan culture, Chinese characters and ancient poetry to an international audience.

The Phoenix

The Phoenix is a key visual poster created for a music academy and festival in Taipei. The central image combines music waves with the shape of a violin, forming a phoenix that spreads its wings. The orange waves at the center also suggest a flame, representing the effort and enthusiasm of the musicians and the staff. The dark blue background is built from curved lines that recall the sea and sound waves. Daikure Brand Identity is a poster series created for a Japanese manufacturing company in heavy industry. Real employees of the company appear as the models. Clear and steady eyes express focus and craftsmanship. The posture of the models expresses boldness in the profession. The facial expressions suggest long experience and reliability. Contrast between bright light and dark blue supports the brand values of professionalism, attention to detail and craftsmanship. The images are designed to convey strong and solid energy.

Route

Route is a poster created as a school typography project. Field research in the city was carried out to record authentic letterforms. An elegant handwritten script found on a van was selected as the inspiration. The double stroke left by markers on the glossy surface forms the main visual language of the poster. The name Route refers to the inspiration photograph, which was taken from a moving car, and to the double lines, which recall the ruts left by wheels. The final poster expresses movement and direction.

Debes Intervenir is a workplace safety poster campaign created for an industrial plant. The posters show the correct and the incorrect use of tools and facilities. Each scene focuses on the moment just before an accident happens. A comic style is used to build a friendly and clear bond with the workers. An illustrated character guides the staff through every message. The artwork was drawn with vector illustration tools to keep an organic and loose line, then colored and composed with image editing software. Each poster is printed on styrene and measures 900 by 600 millimeters.

Wild Cook Advertising

Advertising is one of the most important parts of presenting a product. To be able to present a design, designers should understand the main aspects of the design and in order to present it in an artistic way, they have to focus on its most important features.The presented design is advertising posters for a product which gives different smoking scents from smooth burn of natural materials to food that is why the designers insisted on showing natural materials burning and the smoke coming out of them. The designers intention was to stimulate their curiosity about the advertising.
