5x5

The story about the 5x5 LED lamp comes together with the 5x5 chair introduced and awarded previous year. The chair's unique material characteristic required tiles’ dimensions of approximately 5x5 cm. Therefore the same dimensions were the starting point for the lamp. In order to avoid the direct form's repetition the 5x5 cm is applied in a form of rhombus, the main modular structure part of the lamp. Several lamps mounted together offer the possibility to create different lighting patterns like zig-zag, diagonal line, the shape of an arrow, or other shapes by using designer's own creativity.

Glory Forever

2020 Nantou lantern festival water dancing show with the theme of Glory Forever, it was based on the shape of a famous mountain in Taiwan, Nantou county “Ninety nine Peaks”, it also shows the nature scenery on the water screen with color changeable lighting pattern. Designer Li Chen Peng builds it by the nine arcs on the water surface with a steel structure combined water dance show, to bring the water show into the virtual and real state of combining shapes.

Spike

Spike lamp plays with contrasts. It reflect to punk culture, yet to calm Scandinavian mood. It is a voluminous piece, yet the warm light is focused into a small pointy area under the piece. The Spike lamp has a aggressive appearance because of the metal spikes pointing towards the viewer. At the same time there is something calm about the smoothness of the ceramic surface and warm light. The lamp creates tension in a interior. Like an individual from a subculture.

Double Face

Double Face is a lamp designed for use during power outages. The lamp works as a normal light when electricity is available, and the same supply charges a flashlight held inside the body. When the power fails, the upper part is rotated so the charged light continues to illuminate the room. The upper light can also be removed and carried as a flashlight. The shell is made of aluminium alloy for light weight, strength and corrosion resistance, and the base is made of plastic. Double Face measures 18 by 18 by 48 centimetres.

Eclipse

Eclipse is a wall lamp inspired by the solar eclipse. The lamp has two parts: a round light body that represents the sun and a black metal frame that represents the moon. The frame turns around an axis and blocks the light, so the brightness changes slowly and marks the passing of time. An angle sensor on the axis controls the LED array. The frame can also be turned by hand or moved through a mobile application. The lampshade is made of matte plastic. Eclipse measures 60 by 15 by 60 millimeters and contains a rechargeable battery.

This is a modern and versatile lighting product. Hanging detail and all cabling have been concealed to minimize visual clutter. This product is designed to be used in commercial spaces. The most important aspect is found in the lightness of its frame. The single-piece frame is produced from bending a 20 x 20 x 1,5 mm square shaped metal profile. The light frame supports a relatively big and transparent glass cylinder encasing the light bulb. One 40W E27 long and slim Edison light bulb is used in the product. All metal pieces are painted a semi-matt bronze color.

Functional Lamp

360 Degree Functional Lamp is a table lamp with an integrated webcam, made for use on a desk. The lamp rotates a full 360 degrees, and the height and length are adjusted by turning the pipe, which moves eight wheel sets for smooth movement. The webcam records at 1080p high definition and focuses automatically from 10 centimeters to far distances. Light-emitting diodes in red, green, blue and white produce natural light. The round structure releases heat efficiently and gives light that is comfortable for the eyes. Assembly is simple.

Uod

Uod is a smart chandelier designed for homes and work areas. The chandelier is anchored to the ceiling and can also serve as a task light for reading or working. A system of mobile stems bends the light OLED panels so that the illuminated surfaces face the working surface below. A connected mobile application measures the light level and adjusts the light power and the shape of the fixture. Visual comfort is improved by changing the position of the panels rather than by raising the power, which saves energy. Brushed aluminium, steel and OLED panels are used.

Net

Net is a suspended luminaire designed for industrial and office spaces. The diffuser is made of chain-link metal mesh combined with an acoustic membrane. The mesh transmits light, absorbs sound and protects the power supply from dust and dirt. OLED technology is used for the light source. The body is built on a standard modular profile, so several configurations and lighting networks can be formed. The suspension cable includes a Y-shaped regulator that makes installation and height adjustment easier.

Eclips

Eclips is a clip-on lamp designed for curtains and other fabric supports. The lamp attaches to fabric like a clip, so a curtain becomes a source of ambient light. Light is produced by two dimmable RGB LED strips, which work without generating heat. The body is made of brushed aluminium and steel. Intensity, colour and power are set through an application. Several units can be combined on one curtain to create different compositions and light effects, which vary with the shade of the fabric.

Prometheus ILight

The project captures the moment in which Prometheus stole knowledge from the Gods so he can share it with mankind. It is designed to serves as a protective shell. The light from the sphere is warm because it is only a fraction. The cube represents the source, the Gods themselves and is fitted with a strip of LEDs, generating cold light, the boundary between the two levels of existence and perception.
