UVine
UVine spiral staircase is formed by interlocking U and V shaped box profiles in an alternating fashion. This way, the staircase becomes self-supporting since it does not need a center pole or perimeter support. Through its modular and versatile structure, the design brings easiness throughout manufacturing, packaging, transportation and installation.
UVine Staircase by Bora Yıldırım has been featured as an innovative example of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. UVine Staircase was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Building Materials and Construction Components Design in 2018. The A' Building Materials and Construction Components Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program that celebrates excellent design of bricks, beams, windows, doors, insulation materials, roofing materials, plumbing fixtures, electrical components and more.
