Sound Balance
Sound Balance is a system of acoustic elements designed for open-plan offices. The range comprises 34 wall and room elements that absorb sound. Each absorber combines polyester fleece panels of varying densities to reach a high level of sound absorption. The acoustic material offers a higher absorption rating than typical foams and fibres. All Sound Balance elements are certified to Fire Safety Class B2 and use pollutant-free materials. The elements are sturdy and hold securely on the wall. Noise is reduced while a calm visual appearance is kept.
Sound Balance Acoustic Elements by SIGEL GmbH was identified as a grand illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Sound Balance Acoustic Elements was awarded the Golden A' Design Award in Building Materials and Construction Components Design in 2020. The A' Building Materials and Construction Components Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize which celebrates excellent design of bricks, beams, windows, doors, insulation materials, roofing materials, plumbing fixtures, electrical components and more.
