This concept design for BAM’s New Wave event captures the dynamic energy of theater through die-cut typography and stage-inspired lighting patterns. Drawing from the movement of drapes and the interplay of light and shadow, the design creates a layered, immersive experience. Each chapter features distinct patterns blended with imagery, forming a cohesive visual narrative that reflects the event’s diverse themes while maintaining a unified identity.

Brooklyn Academy of Music Publication Design by Ying Han was highlighted as a grand example of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Brooklyn Academy of Music Publication Design won the Bronze A' Design Award in Print and Published Media Design in 2025. The A' Print and Published Media Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award that celebrates outstanding design of brochures, posters, magazines, catalogs, flyers, business cards, billboards, books and more.
