Artloom
ArtLoom is a mobile application that connects emerging artists with art collectors. Selling work can feel difficult for new artists, while new collectors often do not know where to start. ArtLoom takes inspiration from social media and dating applications. Collectors browse artwork in an immersive virtual gallery and receive a daily selection based on their browsing habits. Artist profiles present the story behind each work. An artificial intelligence chat assistant supports communication between artists and collectors. ArtLoom is designed for iOS devices.
Artloom Mobile Application by Tianyi Qi has been featured as an innovative representation of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Artloom Mobile Application won the Bronze A' Design Award in Mobile Technologies, Applications and Software Design in 2025. The A' Mobile Technologies, Applications and Software Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize which recognizes excellent design of smartphones, tablets, wearables, mobile applications, mobile games, mobile software, mobile platforms, mobile interfaces and more.
