Doritos W and Y
Doritos W and Y is a limited edition food packaging design created to mark the final tour of the reggaeton duo Wisin and Yandel. The packaging forms part of a wider visual identity system offered for a limited time. The background carries the red, white and blue colors of the Puerto Rican flag. A stylized black and white photograph of the two performers is placed at the center, beside text promoting the La Ultima Mision world tour. The angular Doritos logo is shown prominently on the front of the pack.
Doritos W and Y Food Packaging by PepsiCo Design and Innovation was selected as an exceptional example of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Doritos W and Y Food Packaging received the Iron A' Design Award in Limited Edition and Custom Design in 2023. The A' Limited Edition and Custom Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade which celebrates exceptional design of limited edition products, bespoke watches, custom furniture, bespoke jewelry, personalized fashion collections, modified automobiles, made to order products and more.
