Kon Paper Magazine

Kon Paper

Kon Paper is a magazine for literature and culture. The magazine presents three sections: essay, feuilleton and word art. The layout explores the boundaries between text forms and places them in new contexts, with a separate grid for each section. Illustrations by changing artists accompany the texts. The format measures 220 by 275 millimetres and holds 52 pages, bound with two staples through the spine. Recycled paper and environmentally friendly inks are used for printing. The redesign of 2020 aimed at a durable magazine that readers keep on their shelves.

Kon Paper Magazine by Julia Hell was recognized as a creative representation of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Kon Paper Magazine was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Print and Published Media Design in 2022. The A' Print and Published Media Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design award which recognizes exceptional design of brochures, posters, magazines, catalogs, flyers, business cards, billboards, books and more.
