Science as an Emotional Trend

Science as an Emotional Trend is a series of welcome screens created in 2021 for the Sberbank Online mobile application. The series is dedicated to the Year of Science and Technology in Russia. Three themes are included: Undersea, Through the Microscope, and Neural Network. Undersea presents photographs taken by marine biologists. Through the Microscope shows familiar objects recorded with micro and macro photography. Neural Network shows images generated by artificial intelligence. The aim is to combine emotion with knowledge.

Science as an Emotional Trend Welcome Screens by Liubov Maximenkova has been identified as a creative illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Science as an Emotional Trend Welcome Screens won the Bronze A' Design Award in Mobile Technologies, Applications and Software Design in 2022. The A' Mobile Technologies, Applications and Software Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design prize that recognizes outstanding design of smartphones, tablets, wearables, mobile applications, mobile games, mobile software, mobile platforms, mobile interfaces and more.
