Monica
Monica is a mobile application for women with polycystic ovary syndrome, also known as PCOS. The application uses artificial intelligence and a conversational interface, so information is shared through a simple dialogue. Monica explains the condition in clear terms and gives customized guidance based on personal information entered by the user. The guidance covers exercise, regular rest, diet planning and taking medicine on time. A community section lets users share experiences and support each other. The application is made for iOS and Android devices.
Monica Female Health Care by Muling Huang has been recognized as a creative example of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Monica Female Health Care earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Mobile Technologies, Applications and Software Design in 2021. The A' Mobile Technologies, Applications and Software Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program that rewards outstanding design of smartphones, tablets, wearables, mobile applications, mobile games, mobile software, mobile platforms, mobile interfaces and more.
