Hydration Platform
Hydration Platform is a connected water dispensing system designed for PepsiCo Design and Innovation. The platform is made up of three core parts: a water dispenser, a companion smartphone application, and a personalized QR code sticker for reusable bottles. The sticker allows the dispenser to recognize each user without extra steps. The application is designed to be simple to use. Personalization is the core of Hydration Platform, which brings choice and variety to everyday water drinking and supports the use of reusable bottles.
Hydration Platform PRODUCT by PepsiCo Design and Innovation was recognized as a grand representation of product design by the A' Design Award. Hydration Platform PRODUCT won the Golden A' Design Award in Food, Beverage and Culinary Arts Design in 2020. The A' Food, Beverage and Culinary Arts Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade which celebrates outstanding design of design for food, design with food, food servings, tasting menus, cocktails, desserts, entrées, main dishes, culinary experiences and more.
