Anpin Yuanshe Heyuan
Anpin Yuanshe Heyuan is a residential interior design project located in Nanjing, China. The design keeps the historical layout of local streets and lanes and applies it to a low-rise courtyard house. Streets, lanes, yards and a light well organize the plan. Grey tiles, white walls and a wavy hip roof recall the building traditions of southern Nanjing. The house is combined with a garden that can be visited and lived in. The result links the character of the old city with contemporary residential life.
Anpin Yuanshe Heyuan Residential House by Kot Ge has been featured as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Anpin Yuanshe Heyuan Residential House earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize which rewards excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
