Xiaomi Watch
Mi Watch Li Bai is the packaging designed for a smart watch. The box is made of paper and holds a paper pulp tray, so no plastic is used. A three-dimensional hologram is applied to the dial area of the package. Water ripples appear to flow when the box is viewed from different angles. Embossed printing and a special ink reproduce the look and texture of the dial and the strap. The watch rests on a raised part of the tray instead of a recess, so the watch appears to float. The package measures 295 by 79 by 49 millimeters.
Xiaomi Watch Smart Watch by Xiaomi was featured as an innovative representation of communication design by the A' Design Award. Xiaomi Watch Smart Watch was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2020. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program that recognizes outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
