Rock Jewelry
Rock Jewelry is a jewelry store interior covering 57 square meters. The design is guided by architectural space and material logic. A path leads in from the outside and gradually extends, so visitors experience the natural force of rough stone walls. Horizontal long windows set in wooden grille walls rise and narrow along the route, ending at a treasure room entered through a weathering steel sliding door. Wood veneer laminates form the cabinets to meet fire safety requirements. Perforated aluminum panels and fiber optic lights shape the ceiling.
Rock Jewelry Store by Qingfan Zhang has been recognized as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Rock Jewelry Store earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition that recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
