Shenyang Hunnan
Shenyang Hunnan is an exhibition center located beside the Hunhe River in Shenyang, China. The building covers 1400 square meters and combines exhibition space with an observation tower. A viewing platform stands at a height of 45 meters, and four floors of smaller platforms below can serve as a small water bar and a book bar. The facade is made of aluminum plate with partial gradual perforations. Large areas of glass connect the interior and the exterior. The curved form follows the scenery of the Hunhe River and gives the district a new river viewing point.
Shenyang Hunnan Exhibition Center by Tengyuan Design was selected as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Shenyang Hunnan Exhibition Center earned the Golden A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2020. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design competition which rewards excellent design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
