Heytea
Heytea Nantong Mixc is a tea store interior design located in a shopping mall near the street. The 200 square meter space avoids partitions and instead uses daylight and the existing structure to create an open and transparent layout. The design takes inspiration from the bucket arches of traditional Chinese architecture, arranged in linear order and expressed in stainless steel. White strip bricks decorate the single wall, keeping the interior bright and visually pure. The seating area and the bar area are joined together, which increases openness and creates a lively atmosphere.
Heytea Store by Uno Chan was recognized as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Heytea Store was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade that honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
