Yulai Fang
Yulai Fang is a restaurant interior covering 215 square meters inside a busy shopping mall. The design connects and overlaps geometric shapes to form a combined facade. Terrazzo and mirror stainless steel divide the indoor and outdoor areas. The entrance keeps the orange and black colors of the brand identity. A semi-open entrance allows light and views to pass through. Mirror ceilings reduce the heavy feeling of the low areas and create varied reflections. A long table area and a square table area serve different groups of guests.
Yulai Fang Restaurant by Yue Jiang was recognized as a grand illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Yulai Fang Restaurant was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition which rewards superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
