Mountain Stone
Mountain Stone is the visual identity of an art exhibition on environmental protection. The identity is applied to a book that measures 210 by 14 by 190 millimeters and is printed on green paper. The book is bound by hand with an exposed spine and glue. The cover lettering follows the shapes of Taihu stone, a natural rock form. The image of Taihu stone reflected in water is used as a mirror of the relationship between people and nature. The design connects art and nature to raise public awareness of environmental protection.
Mountain Stone Exhibition Visual by Weiquan Long has been identified as an exceptional representation of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Mountain Stone Exhibition Visual received the Silver A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2020. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design award that rewards excellent design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
