Return to Innocence
Return to Innocence is an office interior created for an interior design company in Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The building facade is covered with metal sheets and glass curtains. The first floor holds an open reception area with an Italian marble counter and a hand painted wall. The second floor contains a meeting area with a long wood table and a book wall, plus an elevated indoor walkway leading to an outdoor staff break room. The third floor holds the working area. The 200 square meter project uses plain materials and a modest budget.
Return to Innocence Office by Syuan-Ta Chiu has been featured as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Return to Innocence Office earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award that recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
