No Boundary
No Boundary is a residential apartment interior of 100 square meters in Taichung City, Taiwan. The layout is organized along axes, and the public area near the entrance is planned as an open space without solid wall partitions. The living room, the dining room and the bar kitchen form three connected yet independent zones. A recessed white marble television wall, light grids and black glass lines on the ceiling mark the divisions. Black and white tones set a modern mood, while warm wooden textures are used in the bedrooms.
No Boundary Residential Apartment by Hsin-Yuan Lee has been selected as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. No Boundary Residential Apartment was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design award that rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
