Modern Classical
Modern Classical is a residential apartment interior design covering 158.7 square meters. The plan divides the space into a wide public area at the front, a quiet study room and a guest toilet in the middle, and a private area at the rear. The layout keeps damp air from the bathroom away from the main rooms. The design combines modern and new classical elements, and subtle classical details are applied to modern structures through diverse materials. Decorative mirrors, a chandelier, carved panels, marble, wood and paintings shape the interior.
Modern Classical Residential Apartment by Ching-Ya Chou was recognized as a grand illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Modern Classical Residential Apartment was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize which honors superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
