Fluid and Form
Fluid and Form is a residential interior design for a single-level ground floor home in Taipei City, Taiwan. The layout opens toward a garden view and natural light. Fluidity is the main theme, expressed through a flowing timber grille ceiling that links the public spaces. Dyed solid timber posts, natural masonry tiles and mineral paints are used. A large sliding door separates public and private areas while keeping visual continuity. Circulation is planned for wheelchair users, and a green corridor divides the master bedroom from the children bedrooms.
Fluid and Form Residence by ACG Design International has been highlighted as a grand illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Fluid and Form Residence received the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design prize that celebrates exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
