Exquisite Life
Exquisite Life is a residential interior design located in Taipei, Taiwan. The home uses dark brown timber with black, grey and white tones to create a calm and modern atmosphere. A television wall in metalwork and a sofa wall with a timber grille give a sense of a higher ceiling. The original three-room layout was changed into two rooms plus an open study for computers and leisure. The grille allows partial views between areas, so each space keeps its own character while staying connected. Concealed windows provide natural light and ventilation.
Exquisite Life Residential Space by Jung Yuan Hou was identified as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Exquisite Life Residential Space was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade that honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
