Gabo
The Gabo ring was designed to encourage people to revisit the playful side of life which is usually lost when adulthood arrives. The designer was inspired by the memories of observing her son playing with his colorful magic cube. The user can play with the ring by rotating the two independent modules. By doing this, the gemstone color sets or the position of the modules can be matched or mismatched. Besides the playful aspect, the user has the choice of wearing a different ring everyday.
Gabo Ring by Ana Piazza has been featured as a grand example of fashion design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Gabo Ring received the Silver A' Design Award in Jewelry Design in 2020. The A' Jewelry Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition that honors excellent design of rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, brooches, pendants, cufflinks, anklets and more.
