Yingcheng Zhongcui
Yingcheng Zhongcui is an exhibition center for a hot spring resort in Xiaogan, Hubei Province, China. The interior covers 723 square meters and follows the layout of the architecture, with halls in four directions for reception, negotiation, recreation and interaction. Gypsum gray and natural wood colors dominate the space. Wood, stone, hessian, bamboo and rattan are used, with rustic wooden chairs, a polished marble table and rattan handicrafts. Overhead, a chandelier combines branches and bubble-like acrylic lamps. The design joins local cultural elements with modern methods.
Yingcheng Zhongcui Exhibition Center by Kelly Lin has been selected as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Yingcheng Zhongcui Exhibition Center won the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design prize which rewards superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
