Residence of Yang
Residence of Yang is a residential interior design created within an old house renovation. The layout follows the existing beam and column structure. The television wall and the bookshelf are set close against the wall, which opens the circulation and connects the living room and the dining room. The television wall has an oblique section, so family members in both rooms can share the same screen. White surfaces are combined with natural wood grain. Daylight enters from both sides of the public area, making the interior bright and spacious.
Residence of Yang Residential House by Chen Yan Teng was featured as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Residence of Yang Residential House earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020.
