Bailu
Bailu is a residential interior design for a private villa in Chengdu. The original building was an American-style villa of 660 square meters, and its layout did not suit the modern living habits of the owners. The space was expanded and reorganized into a simple modern villa of 1000 square meters, while the original exterior was kept. Each room was given a more balanced area, and a billiards room was added on the lower floor. Natural stone, solid wood and marble were used. White surfaces and open areas give the interior a calm and artistic character.
Bailu Residential House by Haoling Yu has been featured as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Bailu Residential House received the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design award that celebrates exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
