Golden Life Wine Packaging

Golden Life

Golden Life is a packaging design for green plum wine. The form is inspired by traditional Japanese architecture with Chinese elements, including temple and house profiles and the curves of Zen buildings. A golden color reflects the tone of the wine. The outer box is made of composite paper combined with polyethylene and foil, while the bottle is made of glass, a chemically stable material that is not corroded by alcohol or acids. An opening on the side saves material and production steps. A removable ring and a ribbon hold the package closed and make it easy to carry.

Golden Life Wine Packaging by Bruce Tao was featured as a creative illustration of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Golden Life Wine Packaging earned the Iron A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2020. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade that recognizes superior design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
