Oriental Courtyard
Jiayuan Oriental Courtyard is the interior design of a villa of 1000 square meters. Traditional Chinese elements are combined with modern materials, careful colors and detailed decoration to create a balanced and elegant modern oriental living space. The design keeps the original ceiling heights and the open spacing of the building. The open kitchen shares the same view as the living room and the outdoor courtyard, so family interaction becomes closer. In the basement, wood, metal, leather and marble highlight lines, and the wide use of wood recalls Chinese antique aesthetics.
Oriental Courtyard Villa by Haiyang Zhang was selected as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Oriental Courtyard Villa won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design accolade which celebrates exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
