Feel the Vineyard Exhibition

Feel the Vineyard

Feel the Vineyard is an exhibition design created for a wine and spirits trade fair in Hong Kong. The layout covers eight hundred thirty-three square meters and holds booths for 255 wine brands. The theme is a winery. Wood, grass and metal are the main materials. Wooden patterns recall traditional barrels, while grass suggests a grape orchard. Wired metal cabinets were chosen for the display units to save space and to allow flexible arrangements. An aroma wall presents the different scents of Australian wines, and a wine bar offers a relaxed tasting area.

Feel the Vineyard Exhibition by Kelvin Chan was identified as a grand example of service design by the A' Design Awards. Feel the Vineyard Exhibition received the Bronze A' Design Award in Event and Happening Design in 2020. The A' Event and Happening Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design prize that honors exceptional design of trade fairs, award ceremonies, festivals, conferences, exhibitions, concerts, product launches, charity events and more.
