Sparkling Juice
Sparkling Juice is a packaging design for a carbonated fruit drink. The design combines the label with the shape of the glass bottle. The beveled label follows the curvature of the bottle, and a small fruit label indicates the flavor of the juice. Hand-drawn illustrations show four animals, a flamingo, a leopard, a giraffe and a chameleon, reaching toward four fruits, lime, passion fruit, strawberry and lychee. The bottle holds 290 milliliters and is 20 centimeters tall. Hot silver printing and embossing are used on the label.
Sparkling Juice Beverage Packaging by Mao Ming has been recognized as an innovative illustration of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Sparkling Juice Beverage Packaging won the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2020. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade which recognizes exceptional design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
