Mondrian
Here is presented a jewelry collection dedicated to Mondrian and his most famous works. The collection is composed of brooches, pendants and necklaces. It is made of a laser-cut Acrylic plates, rubber and silver tone chain. Inspired by art, these pieces are wearable art themselves. This is a statement jewelry intended for bold both women and men. The Mondrian collection is just a part of a larger "hommage" collection dedicated to and inspired by famous painters and their works: Bol, Calder, Klee, Van Gogh, Matisse, Miro, Renoir, transfering their paintings into jewelry.
Mondrian Jewelry by Diana Sokolic was selected as an outstanding illustration of fashion design by the A' Design Awards. Mondrian Jewelry received the Iron A' Design Award in Jewelry Design in 2019. The A' Jewelry Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition that celebrates exceptional design of rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, brooches, pendants, cufflinks, anklets and more.
