Design Ethics & Visual Integrity Lab

Devil is a workshop toolkit created for the Design Ethics and Visual Integrity Lab. The toolkit is a participatory visual communication system that addresses visual plagiarism and supports ethical design practice in art and design education. Structured activities, prompt cards and a cohesive visual identity guide reflective making. Printed items include a workbook, a custom folder, a poster, postcards and a notepad, produced on Munken Polar Rough paper with spot UV detailing. The toolkit supports collaborative learning across different teaching contexts.

Design Ethics & Visual Integrity Lab Toolkit by Lisa Winstanley was selected as a creative illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Design Ethics & Visual Integrity Lab Toolkit was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2026. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design prize which celebrates outstanding design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
