No. 27
No. 27 is a sculptural candle created for ambient lighting in modern interiors. The undulating base is cast from engineered concrete and takes its form from a volcano. Transparent heat-resistant glass tubes of varying heights are set into the concrete base and serve as refillable liquid fuel reservoirs. Metal is used only for the wick holders, which limit heat transfer and support safe, continuous flames. The refillable fuel system removes wax waste. The piece measures 56 cm in length, 32 cm in width and 31 cm in height.
No. 27 Sculptural Lighting by Mohammad Meyzari was selected as an outstanding example of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. No. 27 Sculptural Lighting was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Homeware Design in 2026.
