Frechal Terrace

This project focuses on the shared spaces of a residential building and how they can enrich everyday life for its residents. Instead of repeating similar rooms, the design introduces highly differentiated areas throughout the building, each with its own character and atmosphere. The intention was to create a spatial experience similar to walking through a small city, where moving between spaces becomes a journey of discovery. Another key goal was to include environments that would rarely exist inside a typical home, expanding the range of activities and experiences available to residents.

Frechal Terrace Residential Building Interiors by Thiago Mondini was featured as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Frechal Terrace Residential Building Interiors received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade that recognizes excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
