TP 01
TP 01 is a bipedal humanoid robot designed for public spaces. Inspired by the culture of Chengdu, TP 01 has rounded contours, a large head and large feet, and a bright color palette that softens the industrial appearance. A micro expression recognition system, a 19 inch high definition display, and voice interaction allow the robot to perceive and answer emotions. Six degrees of freedom in the neck and biomimetic gaits support natural movement. A group control system enables synchronized dances, while modular interfaces allow themed decorative panels to be swapped quickly.
TP 01 Embodied Smart Bipedal Robot by Chengdu Humanoid Robot Innovation Center was selected as an innovative example of service design by the A' Design Award & Competition. TP 01 Embodied Smart Bipedal Robot won the Bronze A' Design Award in Robotics, Automaton and Automation Design in 2026. The A' Robotics, Automaton and Automation Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize which celebrates outstanding design of industrial robots, medical robots, agricultural robots, domestic robots, autonomous vehicles, humanoid robots, telepresence robots, underwater robots and more.
