Hong Jiu
Hong Jiu is a gift package for baijiu, a strong Chinese liquor. The bottle takes the form of a traditional Chinese arched bridge and is made of high borosilicate crystal glass, selected for clarity and impact resistance. A gilded metal roof, formed by precision lost wax casting, and cloisonne cloud, crane and flower patterns decorate the top. When the lid is opened, the interior unfolds like a landscape painting behind the bottle. The tray also serves as a display stand, so the bottle can be kept as a desktop ornament.
Hong Jiu Liquor Package by Cheng Tian Sheng has been selected as a grand example of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Hong Jiu Liquor Package received the Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2026. The A' Packaging Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design award that recognizes exceptional design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
