Modular Zone
Modular Zone is a mattress designed to offer a personalized sleep experience. The mattress uses 3D printed lattice springs and bio based foam compartments in place of traditional foam and springs. Three basic modules and an optional reinforcement module can be combined to adjust firmness. Internal sensors monitor sleep posture and heart rate, and an AI model provides configuration recommendations. A cool breathable fabric with micro air channels improves heat dissipation. The cushioning structure is inspired by automotive suspension systems and allows local repairs.
Modular Zone Mattress by Sweetnight has been identified as an exceptional example of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Modular Zone Mattress received the Silver A' Design Award in Bedding Design in 2026. The A' Bedding Design Award is a highly prestigious international design recognition program which celebrates exceptional design of comforters, duvets, quilts, bedspreads, blankets, bed sheets, pillowcases, mattress protectors and more.
