Yebuna
Yebuna is a packaging design for a range of roasted coffee blends. The identity draws on Ethiopia, the birthplace of coffee, and on the Amharic word Yebuna. A logo framed by parentheses refers to the journey of coffee from origin to cup. Bold vertical typography improves visibility on the shelf, and vivid colors inspired by African rivers, mountains and sunsets distinguish each blend. The coffee is held in durable resealable bags that preserve freshness. Advanced printing reproduces precise gradients and rich tones.
Yebuna Coffee Packaging by Antonia Skaraki has been identified as an exceptional example of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Yebuna Coffee Packaging received the Iron A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2026. The A' Packaging Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design award which recognizes excellent design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
