Koya Golden Dragon XO

Koya Golden Dragon XO is a packaging design for an alcoholic beverage. The glass bottle is shaped like an oak aging barrel. A zinc alloy dragon, precision cast and polished, coils around the bottle as a symbol of strength and prosperity. The cap is shaped as a dragon head, so the liquor appears to flow from the mouth of the dragon while pouring. The outer case is made of rigid board with a gold metallic finish, crimson details and classical dragon illustrations. A metal handle makes the case easy to carry. The design joins Eastern symbolism with Western brandy tradition.

Koya Golden Dragon XO Alcoholic Beverage Packaging by Junjian Wan has been highlighted as an outstanding illustration of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Koya Golden Dragon XO Alcoholic Beverage Packaging won the Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2026. The A' Packaging Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize which honors outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
