Hoor
Hoor Light is a reinterpretation of the Iranian Hooraneh, an architectural element designed to filter daylight through narrow openings. The lamp is formed by two metal plates held together with concealed magnets, enclosing a diffuser that distributes the light evenly. Instead of emitting a direct beam, it produces a gentle illumination that defines the surrounding space. The design connects traditional references with contemporary production methods, merging cultural heritage with present-day use.
Hoor Light by Meysam Feizi was featured as an innovative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Hoor Light received the Silver A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design in 2026. The A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize that celebrates outstanding design of chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, outdoor lights, recessed lights, track lights and more.
