A Moment of Joy
A Moment of Joy is a liquor packaging design inspired by the plum blossom, a symbol of resilience and subtlety. The bottle is made of transparent glass, formed by a high-temperature one-piece molding process that creates smooth and continuous curved surfaces. The cap is made of the same material and takes a plum blossom shape that extends the bottle form. The transparent body reveals the liquid inside and refracts light and shadow. The outer box uses eco-friendly paper with subtle embossing. The minimalist form joins Eastern imagery with modern design.
A Moment of Joy Liquor Packaging by Weijun Xu has been recognized as a grand representation of communication design by the A' Design Award. A Moment of Joy Liquor Packaging received the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2026. The A' Packaging Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design competition which recognizes excellent design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
