Keen
Keen is a computer keyboard designed for office tasks that require frequent switching between number input and mouse control. The numeric keypad is placed on the left side, and the left section follows the input logic of the left hand. This layout allows the right hand to stay on the mouse and reduces hand movement. Spherical concave keycaps fit the fingertips, while flat keycaps mark selected keys for typing without looking. Four function keys can be customized. Keystroke noise stays between 25 and 30 decibels.
Keen Keyboard by Sho Okura has been selected as a grand illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Keen Keyboard received the Silver A' Design Award in Computers and Peripheral Devices Design in 2026. The A' Computers and Peripheral Devices Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade which recognizes outstanding design of laptops, desktop computers, workstations, servers, tablets, mainframes, supercomputers, minicomputers and more.
