Patia
Patia is a pedal operated trash can designed for kitchen use. The vertical stripes on the body act as reinforcing ribs. The convex and concave pattern raises strength and helps prevent denting during transport. The body is made of cold rolled steel, cut by laser and shaped on a continuous rolling line. The lid and the footrest are formed by stamping dies. A light step on the pedal opens the lid slowly, and the lid then returns to its closed position, so contact with the inside of the can is avoided. Patia measures 400 mm in width, 330 mm in depth and 622 mm in height.
Patia Striped Trash Can by Ziel Home Furnishing Technology Co., Ltd was highlighted as an outstanding illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award. The A' Kitchen Furniture, Equipment and Fixtures Design Award is a highly prestigious international design competition that celebrates outstanding design of cabinets, countertops, islands, pantries, tables, chairs, bar stools, sinks and more.
