Ripple
Ripple is a residential interior design for an apartment of 87.5 square meters in Taiwan. A wave-like ceiling flows through the living and dining areas, softening low ceilings and fixed beams while spreading light. The original four-bedroom layout was reconfigured into three bedrooms and a walk-in closet to improve flexibility and circulation. A curved glass wall links the kitchen and the entrance closet, and concealed double-sided cabinetry keeps storage out of sight. The master bedroom uses sound-absorbing panels and an insulated door for quiet sleep.
Ripple Residence by YU FEN LEE has been recognized as a grand illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Ripple Residence earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade which honors excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
