Congtai Huofenzi
Congtai Huofenzi is a packaging design for a Chinese baijiu aimed at young consumers. The visual concept is based on the movement of water and the active nature of liquor molecules, expressed through a central motif named the Eye of Vitality. The bottle carries a dynamic embossed texture and a brand emblem inlaid on a resin plaque. A contoured indentation at the center of the bottle supports a comfortable grip. The outer box is wrapped in wood-grain paper, while layered specialty papers form a flowing pattern that recalls mountains and rivers.
Congtai Huofenzi Baijiu Packaging by Wen Liu has been highlighted as an innovative example of communication design by the A' Design Award. Congtai Huofenzi Baijiu Packaging won the Golden A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2026. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition that recognizes exceptional design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
