The Golden Viper
The Golden Viper is a pendant designed to hold a ring securely on a necklace. The form is based on a snake, a long-standing symbol of healing. The pendant allows a ring to be stored on the chain when it cannot be worn on the finger, for example by medical staff at work. The ring is guided through the pendant along the chain and looped back into place, so the necklace does not need to be removed. The piece is cast in 18k gold and polished to a high gloss. The inner diameter suits different ring sizes.
The Golden Viper Multifunctional Pendant by Bettina Gomez-Latus has been featured as an innovative example of fashion design by the A' Design Award.
