Golden Seasons Brick
Golden Seasons Brick is a packaging design for compressed Pu-erh tea bricks. The outer sleeve is made of antique-textured specialty paper with debossed seal motifs and gold foil stamping. Inside, a dual-layer drawer box of gold cardstock and grey board holds eighteen gold-foil-wrapped bricks, nine per tray. Anti-shock slots protect the bricks during travel. Each brick weighs four grams, a number that echoes the words for four seasons in Chinese. The trays are replaceable, so the box can be refilled and reused.
Golden Seasons Brick Tea Trekker Kit by Menghao Zeng was recognized as an exceptional example of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Golden Seasons Brick Tea Trekker Kit received the Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2025. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program that honors outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
